Constant slight droning noise when driving, normal, Ford Fiesta MK7 1.25 BJ 2009?
Hello everyone,
Could it be that my Ford Fiesta 1.25, built in 2009, is simply not the quietest by nature?
When driving, a constant drone can be heard in the background, always about the same volume at every speed.
It also vibrates a bit at speeds above 140 km/h. The wheel bearings have been checked and new tires are being fitted.
Is it simply because the model is generally quite inexpensive?
Condition is definitely still good and several times examined in workshop and everything serviced

The engine, by the way, a construction of Yamaha, was already introduced in the MK4 (1995). From the MK7 I always noticed clearly, and from the new car state: The engine sounds quite tubular while it was whispering in the MK4, inside and outside. However, to what extent this is standard or defect in your car, I cannot judge.
