Could my budgie have mites?

Hello, I already asked a similar question about my budgie. I have four young budgies, and one of them looks very strange around his nose (see picture). It's brownish, and his feathers often stick out, and you can see small gaps. He's very playful and actually behaves normally (I think, I've never had birds before). Many people thought he was molting.

But isn't it too early for that? (The others all look normal)

Extra question: is it a rooster?

Hi.

This now looks more like it’s just a little dirty and glued. But since it looks really dry, I wouldn’t worry about it.

In the mouse he will certainly come soon. This cock is still very young what you can see well on the pink wax skin. The blue shimmer on the nose shows that the recoloration soon takes up.

I don’t know at least no signs of damage. These would make the wax skin as well as the beak look limpy, crusty and boary.

Whether it’s too early for a mouse can’t be said. For that, you should know the exact age. How old should he be?

With 3 months, waves are on average coming into the first mouse. Then it’ll be close.
