Can secondary school students receive a scholarship for a student exchange?
I would really like to spend a year abroad, but I don't have enough money (both my parents earn just over €12 per month, so €12,200 is too much). I was considering applying for a scholarship for this. Can I get one as a high school student?

Thank you. Can you actually apply for several stipends at the same time?
Of course. You should do that in any case
Good luck. Hope you get it
Apply yes, but next to the PPP you don’t need another. (But I have made the PPP selection in our constituency today, there is already good competition, so it is absolutely necessary to ask several places)
I’m sorry I have to ask again, but how is that with full scholarship? So I can go to the bsp. Apply simultaneously to PPP and AIFS?
As a real student, you definitely have the opportunity to Scholarship for a student exchange. There are various organisations and programs that offer scholarships specifically for students of all types of school. Some of them are Youth For Understanding (YFU), AFS Intercultural Meetings and the Parliamentary Patenschafts Programme (PPP). These organisations offer various scholarship programmes aimed at pupils of different social and financial backgrounds.
Various factors play a role in applying for a scholarship. These include school achievements, engagement in extracurricular activities, a convincing letter of motivation and letters of recommendation from teachers or other adults. You can also consider starting a crowdfunding campaign or seeking local support from associations, foundations or companies.
There are also other financing options such as partial scholarships, educational loans and fundraising activities. If you are well prepared and committed, your chances are good to get a scholarship for a student exchange. Use all available resources and don’t let you discourage even if it doesn’t work at the first attempt. Every step you take is closer to your goal.
