Can snakes still hatch from unfertilized corn snake eggs?
Hello,
I once heard a rumor that snakes can still hatch from unfertilized eggs (which then have the same DNA as the mother).
Is that correct ?
Thank you in advance 🙂

I was at Zoozajac in Duisburg today and asked about tortoises. The tortoises there don't hibernate. Is that normal? I wanted to buy a tortoise the other day, but there are also tortoises that don't need to hibernate.
A young blackbird drowned in a rain barrel that was about 1.5 m high and filled with water to a depth of about 80 cm. How can you prevent birds and other animals from drowning in rain barrels? I've now emptied the barrels, poured out the water, and poured the rest into a barrel so…

I'm wondering if the 2017 edition of Siegfried Seibt's book "Basic Knowledge for the Hunter's Examination: The Standard Work for the Hunting License" is still up-to-date? Has much changed between this edition and the others, or is it still usable?
Are they more difficult to handle or more relaxed? I know it varies from horse to horse… but what are yours like, and what do people generally say about them?
These are fancy mice. Hi, I'm wondering if I could use an aquarium hiding place for my mice, for example. Will it have too sharp edges? I know this can vary, but maybe there's a more precise guideline. Regarding the second question… I read that a 30cm diameter is the minimum for a mouse's exercise…
Few species can do that. It’s called maiden production or: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parthenogenese
There are snake types that have this on it (in the link is a list of all snake types, of which parthogenesis is known) but the grain atter does not belong to it.
Thank you, I’m sure it’s helpful for others too:)
Even if the grain gates are not listed, it is still capable of:)
Maybe.
Thanks for the star!
Yes, but parthenogenesis in cornate is extremely rare.
