Why do batteries/batteries actually go empty

For the same reason why the tank in the car is empty at some point. Because now only a certain amount of chemical energy can be stored there.

Sure, if there was a way to get an infinite amount of energy, most problems would be solved in this world. Unfortunately, there is still this concept called physics, to which everything here on this planet must adhere.

In the case of the battery, the charging state is then restored. In a battery, an electrolyte is responsible for the two poles. Practical as with a condenser. If the electrolyte is consumed, the battery is also without charge.This is the reason you have to invent something else!
