Combined pill and time shift of 6 hours EARLY?
Hey everyone,
Since my girlfriend doesn't want to create an account here, I'm asking for her: she's traveling to Thailand in a few months and is taking the combined pill (Maexeni). There, the time difference is 6 hours earlier. I thought that if she takes the pill as usual at 7 p.m. (which is 7 p.m. local time there), then she would be taking it 6 hours earlier than usual. Because when it's 7 p.m. in Thailand, it's only 1 p.m. in Germany—earlier. Does it then make sense to schedule the pill for 1 a.m., which would be 7 p.m. in Germany?
We've also been thinking about the flight. Since she's caught a rather long flight, it'll easily take her 20-22 hours to get there. Couldn't she just set a timer (iPhone timers also work in airplane mode and continue running even with a time difference!) for 24 hours so she can take the flight on time despite the time difference, the transfer location, etc.?
Thank you in advance.
PS: The gynecologist is currently on vacation and can't provide any information right now. There's still some time before she flies, but I thought we'd check here in advance in case anyone knows anything about it 🙂
Hello, for example, this “problem” is ubiquitous for flight attendants; I don’t think your girlfriend needs to worry very much now. The magic word is common BETWEENI’d like to read the links I’ve attached here… smile. – Best regards, Imke =)

I think you wanted to take the pills at the German time of 7 p.m.
Otherwise, just call another female doctor. :))
It can simply begin before the start of the trip to shift the pill intake daily something so that it can take it there about at the usual time.
