Breakdown of Africa: The Berlin Conference of 1884-85, in which Europe’s Great Powers shared Africa, led to numerous conflicts between the European Powers and between the colonized African peoples. The arbitrary borderline education later led to ethnic conflicts and unstable states.

Indian-Pakistan conflict: The conflict between India and Pakistan has its roots in the British colonial rule when today’s India and Pakistan were part of the British Raj. The division of the country in India and Pakistan in 1947 led to one of the largest migrations in history and violent conflicts between Hindus and Muslims.
