Kollegin verlobt aber zieht noch nicht zusammen?
Eine Kollegin hat sich stillheimlich verlobt und wir haben es von den Bildern erfahren. Bei ihrer Kultur feiert man innerhalb der Familie die Verlobung klein. Normalerweise redet sie gerne mit mir aber über die Verlobung hatte sie nichts angekündigt. Ich habe sie darauf angesprochen und sie meinte dass sie das nicht groß ansprechen wollte. Nun meinte sie dass sie immer noch nicht mit ihrem Freund zusammen zieht sondern erst nach der Ehe obwohl die schon zusammen verreisen und miteinander an Wochenenden übernachten. Ich finde das ziemlich merkwürdig. Kennst sich jemand in dieser Thematik aus, wenn sie sonst nicht streng religiös ist?

It is still valid today – irsensical – in Islam as “great sin” to have sex without being married. So you do and especially woman(!) as if you have no, even though it is.
Unfortunately, too many Muslims assume that Islam is not reformable, because an alleged Allah has allegedly forbidden it – and so in his name, people are suffering a lot and are inconvenient – completely unnecessary – as well as your colleague. – Certainly, your girlfriend is not strictly religious, but her family or/and her bridegroom’s ones – and those who then make this monkey dance like they don’t have sex together.
You can be engaged before you live together. It’s more rare, but if you’re sure why not. :
