Knee suddenly no longer straightens?

I've had this happen four times now, where I suddenly can't straighten my leg anymore. It hurts, and I can only bend my leg a little, but not straighten it out. I always left it like that because I didn't want to force it. I massaged it, and after a few minutes it was fine again. What could be causing this? Does something sometimes get trapped?

Shortened. It's common.

Either you wear high-heeled shoes too often or you sleep with angled legs (baby position)

That's good. Easily stretching helps a few minutes every day.

This happens frequently in cartilage or meniscus cases. A small torn particle can move into the knee and block the movement. This is sometimes very painful. After a bit of commuting or stretching it can be solved again.

It should be repaired in the long run. Let's go. to the doctor, he can quickly transfer you to the right doctors.

The meniscus is trapped – what to do?

The doc would have to look in, eg by MRT.
