I think you shouldn’t set yourself on a race – that’s just making the search more difficult. Look at many. Horses on, ride sample and choose the horse that best fits you – regardless of race.

When I was looking for a horse, I was totally stiffened on Island, I wanted a little different. But no one I looked at was the right one, never did it fit 100%. No, no, no, no. And of course, the 1,70m tall, heavy warm-blooded, in which I said “n, never in life” immediately after the advertisement – that was it. If my friend hadn’t dragged me there then I wouldn’t have the perfect horse today. I didn’t want another one.

Be open to everything and try out. Hardening on something is rarely good.

These are two extremely different races that I wonder how you get to the selection? You should not just pick horses after the look.

The Norwegian, who we had in the stable, was extremely self-willing, has once tried to strip riders of trees, or she has laid herself under the saddle in Pfützen and has no longer stood up, or only when she wanted, had no desire for saddles and riders, although she was properly trained, she has sought every opportunity to get out of the way. And she had strength and stamina like 10 elephants.

These are two completely different types. You can do with both, but not really jumping – exceptions naturally confirm the rule.

Knabstrupper are baroque horses, more suitable for dressurically fine riding. Norwegians were originally bred to draw boats, and often have too little goose free for it, but are often more robust and forgiven mistakes.

Personally, a squad would say more to me 😄

You’re looking for a horse for the hairstyle. Great idea.

for what? I would rather choose a Fjordi all-rounder. In the new guy. And also at Knabi the question would be something for one.

that can be done with both. I was told that Knabis were more friendly. but since I have no knowledge and had a fjord, I cannot judge it completely. Mine’s looking for his people.

This is now a common thing. I’ve had some time for a young boy mare for riding because she’s been looking for me…

Yeah, I can confirm that. My Fjordi-Omi is also very own and I have a great student with her fjord, the 2 go now L u. the horse does not like any 😉

Okay, these two don’t have soooo much similarities…. the question is, what do you want to do with the horse? After that, the selection should be made.

The more suitable for dressage

Always the fjord horse. Knapstruper often suffers periodic eye inflammation, namely the form that is not operable. Leave the fingers of knapstrupers and appalosas.
