KMX 125 piston jamming?
My KMX 125 has had a piston seizure three times in a very short period of time, and I have no idea what could be causing it. Each time the piston seized, the needle bearing also broke. The spark plug image is correct, the oil pump is disconnected, and I'm running a 1:40 fuel mixture. I don't know what else to do…
Hello the 125 KTM has a water-cooled engine check whether the flow also works correctly whether there is no air in the system and whether the cooler is also not stretched (cooled)solt air in the systhem and the air bubble comes to the pump no longer conveys it and the piston rubs itself.
if you install a new piston, you should drive the piston correctly so the first 500 km with max. 3/4 gas Driving with short full gas (but not already after 100km with full gas driving through the opposite) and after starting do not drive immediately but first let some warm running about 2 to 3 min. the engine thanks you with long service life and good performance. lg max
Cylinders allow to measure whether the piston fits optimally, build pistons properly around, choose the correct thickness of the cylinder base seal, check cylinder for damage
Would a completely new cylinder be installed with measured piston new piston bolt safety clips and new needle bearing. Piston was also properly built in arrow direction outlet. Clamping point was also strangely always the overflower.

did you get the cylinder right? This belongs to it after a piston cylinder change.
