small business regulation?

I founded my company in May and invested a lot in it. However, I'll be earning less than €22,000. I've basically spent more than I earn. Is it wiser not to pay sales tax, or should I be VAT-liable?

What is better for you is a tax adviser when examining the case.

Often, however, it can be more sensible to dispense with the small business organization and to be able to take advantage of the advantages such as pre-tax deduction.

The limit is:

  • $2,000 sales in the current year

and

  • 50.000€ not expected in the following year

The approach begins every year.

If you are in year 1 below 22,000€ and in the following year probably not more than 50,000€, the CUR is possible.

If you are over €2,000 in a year, the CUR is not possible in the following year. Once you’re under 22,000€ in a year, the CUR would be possible again.

In the case of very high expenditure, it may be appropriate to dispense with the small business operator scheme in order to benefit from the pre-tax deduction. However, it should be borne in mind that this decision is bound for 5 years and that it should also be taken into account. So it is impossible to say what is better from both without knowing the situation and the planned further action.

As long as you don’t deserve much and therefore not much use. However, at the same time, you have a lot of expenses that you can draw the pre-tax, it doesn’t make sense to use the small business organization because you don’t get all the money back from your expenses.
