Classifieds item sold, serious accusations and police summons?

Hello,

I sold a pair of shoes on eBay Classifieds in May. The retail price was €79, and I sold them for €55. My child had worn them a maximum of five times. I posted pictures and mentioned in the description that they hadn't been washed or cleaned.

After the shoes arrived at the buyer's, bad news came.

It would be intentional fraud; the shoes were worn out, dirty, and a lot of sand fell out of them. I had edited the pictures, etc.

The seller then sent me pictures to compare, and it did indeed look different. I wasn't aware that my pictures didn't capture it very well. However, it was just a few stains and dust that could have been easily cleaned.

After offering to call the buyer, I realized this wasn't a good idea. Terrible insults…

I then offered to take the item back and refund my money once it arrived. The seller wanted the money first and then ship the item, and he also wanted the shipping costs paid. I refused, and they threatened me with a police report, which they actually did, and I received a police summons.

Unfortunately, in the description of the article I did not mention any return or warranty exclusions…

I'm really worried about the summons now, especially since I have absolutely nothing to reproach myself for. I've been selling for over 15 years and have never experienced anything like this.

Leider eine gängige Sache bei Ebay um mehr Geld zurück zu bekommen.

Hat jemand den Zustand der Schuhe beim einpacken gesehen dann dürfte der Typ schlechte Karten haben….
