Kleberetainer hat sich an einem Zahn gelöst?
Hallo zusammen,
ich habe vorca 7 Jahren meine feste Zahnspange rausbekommen und im Anschluss einen Kleberetainer im Ober- und Unterkiefer, sowie einen Positioner, den ich regelmäßg tragen musste bekommen. Meine letzte, finale kieferorthopädische Behandlung hatte ich vor ca 3-4 Jahren und seitdem auch keine Probleme mit dem Retainer.
Nach der abschließenden Behandlung musste ich den Positioner noch ca ein Jahr tragen und sollte ihn dann “absetzen”, was ich auch getan habe.
Jetzt war ich beim Zahnarzt, der Zahnstein entfernt hat und anscheinend dabei ein bisschen Kleber an einem Zahn beschädigt hat, da mir dieser beim Zähneputzen entgegen kam.
Nun ist an einem Zahn eine Lücke zwischn Zahn und Draht und ich bleibe mit der Zunge immer wieder am Retainer hängen. Da ich in den letzen Jahren umgezogen bin (nicht allzu weit) möchte ich meinen alten KFO ungern wieder aufsuchen und habe mich daher an einen neuen in meiner Nähe gewendet und habe nun in zwei Wochen einen Termin zum nachkleben.
Kann sich bis dahin wieder etwas verschieben, oder sollte das kein Problem sein?
Und kann ich überhaupt bei einem anderen KFO aufschlagen, oder sollte ich doch lieber zu meinem alten?
Die Weisheitszähne hätten übrigens schon raus gemusst, habe mich aber erst jetzt überwinden können und im Mai einen Termin.

You paid the sticker privately and he’s yours. You can leave any doctor of your choice on it. You pay for it, too. That you’re going to another pine orthopedic after a move is normal.
Finest corrections are still carried out with a positioner and started into the retention. After a few months, it is usually replaced by tanker chips or rails.
If you’re wearing these tanker chips, it’ll work with the retention. You just have to wear them. The adhesive container is actually only for convenience. That’s why you pay it yourself. If the adhesive container is damaged and you wear the container chips, then nothing happens.
If, for whatever reason, you would not have a sustainer chip, then probably nothing will happen, because after seven years of constant retention, a non-stable tooth does not shift immediately. Presumably 😉

Of course you can go to any other CFO if you have problems. Just call and tell your situation, you’ll see if there’s a need for action.
