Learn piano without a teacher?

Hi, I'd like to learn to play the piano. I've played before and stopped around the time of the "Flohwalzer" (The Floh Waltz). Do you think I could start playing the piano again without a teacher?

Yes. You will probably not come far beyond this, but reading notes and meeting a few correct keys, you can teach yourself well. You just have to be aware that your borders will be very tight. These questions often come here or on Facebook, such as “Why do I get here with XYZ this and so not” or “I’ll play this for you, you’ll find it nice”. And the answer to it will always remain “Without teaching, it will be nothing.” You can do this for your own home use if you are frustration-tolerant.

You can teach Kin Instrument of the world yourself or with an app (good).

You don’t teach yourself or an app to swim.

You can teach yourself to print the right sounds at the right time. But this has little to do with piano and is stylish rumbling and does not sound really nice. You will not make progress relatively quickly. If that’s enough for you, of course, it’s wonderful. But if you want more, I advise you to find a teacher.

Playing piano is much more than that. Each piece requires another key stop, another pedal guide and design in dynamics, agogics, etc. You have to learn to feel this musical design, and that’s not happening alone. On your own or with an app you will never feel, see and hear all the little makeup. And these little details make good piano play in the end.

In self-study or with apps, all ends either in the frustration, because you don’t go on or you’re overestimated and you think you’re the top professional.

In addition, one gets accustomed quickly to posture errors that can lead to tendonitis or other.

If you want to learn good piano games, get a good teacher who can individually respond to you and also correct you. With a little braid on your side (perform every day) you will make quick progress.

You can teach you simple pieces, but a teacher is much more helpful in the medium and long term (prevents bad habits, can tell you what is to be improved, on which way you can practice effectively and how you can approach xy…etc etc)

A piano teacher is already necessary.

More than just hitting the buttons. What does it take to you if your posture is so that you get fat for 20 minutes, or if other unrecognized mistakes are creeping in?

best looking at yt video. how best to learn independently. you have to think first of all tones and keep in mind which is where. But I don’t know. as I said, I’m sure it’s going to learn independently (if with yt-explain videos).

Is not necessarily difficult now, you can learn everything autoditactically, you just have to practice a lot regularly, that is important and right to listen and play with feeling, and then yes, notes, conductors, something like that, or freestyle etc. You can also transfer guitar chords.
