Skeptical about a school trip?

Hello, I have a school trip to Halle in March, but I don't want to go on the trip at all because I would miss ballet and that is 100 times more important to me than spending time with inconsiderate classmates.

What should I do?

Good morning!

You have so much passion for ballet, it’s perfectly understandable that you’re worried about missing this time.

Maybe you can talk to your teacher and tell them your concerns. Often there is more room than you think when you ask questions. I also think that it could be a chance to find out for yourself how to deal with unpleasant situations. Maybe later you would be happy to have overcome yourself, even if it seemed difficult at first. But that’s just a thought, of course, you have to decide what feels right for you.

I just remember that as a student, I couldn’t take part in a ride and I just went to school in my parallel class. Maybe a way!?

Great! Look, I just remembered it and added it to my text…maybe a way for you:

“I just remember that as a student, I couldn’t take part in a ride and I just went to school in my parallel class. Perhaps a possibility?”

The topic Classification were judges so far: Participation is not a duty. Parents therefore also have the right, in principle, to prohibit their children from driving. And students can also say from themselves: “Without me.” Extra-ferries does not mean that for the home plane. You have to go to another class this time. And which one will be, the school sets.

There are no legal obligation for students to participate in a class trip. Nevertheless, a class trip can be provided as an educational event within the framework of the curriculum. In this case, Participation expected and should be supported by parents.

Talk to your parents and look at the possibilities.

But don’t wait too long. The more the request for exemption is made, the better. Once travel planning is paid in the box and accommodation and co it becomes more difficult. (and also unfair)

Hi dear Dance2010 🙂

No one will be able to force or pull you to the hair, but it can be quite true that class trips are a compulsory event of school, which could lead to problems.

Therefore, I would definitely recommend that you clarify this with your class teacher/school teacher and your parents in advance, as you would have to go to a replacement class at school because you can’t just stay at home like that (keyword school duty).

I hope I could help you a little with my answer. If you have any questions or need help, you can send me a personal message at any time 🙂

Even if class trips are to be regarded as compulsory events in principle, no one can ultimately force pupils to participate, since such trips are now relatively high-priced.

A class trip is much more beautiful and intriguing because it is at most every second school year.

You’re sure you have ballet every week, even if you’re not there for a week, you don’t miss much.

Your class can’t be that bad.

Because this is a plight event, suck up and through.

You’ll have to do things again and again in life that you don’t want to do.

It’s a school event and you’re under school duty. This does not raise the question. You have to take part in the class trip.
