Clicking noise when changing from 1st to 2nd gear?
I have a 2016 VW Sportsvan with 80,000 km on the clock. Recently, with the window open, I noticed that after disengaging the clutch and engaging second gear, there's a distinctly audible clicking noise. This also happens occasionally when shifting from second to third, but it's not as loud or as frequent.
In addition, by adjusting the way I engage the clutch (waiting longer, engaging the gear a little slower) I can sometimes minimize the noise and even eliminate it completely.
Everything goes smoothly and not at all cumbersome, so I would be surprised if this is something serious.
Is this normal?

Ja, das ist normal, die Eingangswelle dreht sich im 1. Gang wesentlich schneller als im 2. Gang, deshalb muss sie beim Gangwechsel durch den Synchronring des 2. Gang abgebremst werden, daher der Widerstand kurz bevor der Gang reingeht. Wenn du das langsamer machst, schlägt die Eingangswelle weniger ruckartig auf den Synchronring, deshalb macht es dann weniger Geräusche.

Hab grade auch noch gemerkt, dass es lauter ist, wenn ich untertourig fahre und dann schalte. Vom 3. In den 2. Gang ist nichts zu hören.
