Kittens Unsure about the age of a kitten?
Hello, I'm hoping someone knows something about this. We can't make an appointment with the vet until tomorrow. Unfortunately, we can't go without an appointment.
My question is, my daughter got two kittens yesterday. According to the woman who gave them away, they are both over 12 weeks old.
Now, since I have cats myself, I'm having serious doubts about their age. Especially with one of the kittens; she weighs only about 450g and, in my opinion, is much too small for 12 weeks. The other one weighs about 920g.
She's bright and lively, climbing, playing, and eating. But I'm still a little worried that she'll be given away too soon.
Thank you
Please ignore the picture with the electricity meter, I can't delete it.
Oha,
the smaller one should be approx. 5 weeks old!
The other should be approx. 8/ 9 weeks old.
Tip to your towels for the future: it should buy double vaccinated kittens, then it can be halfway safe that the age is halfway true.
Thank you.
Well, it’s too late, the two are here now. Hope I get an appointment with the vet tomorrow
They’re both definitely too young.
And it’s probably just that bad.
Such illegal proliferations are strictly indicated.
that can be very good that they are thrown out of the same, it is obvious that these underdeveloped kitten, problems with the genes has after my experience and it could probably die in the next few months, the back is not proportional,
the doctor would be recommended
I would definitely try amoxiclav here if it hardly eats, it definitely does not work healthy, and must be reacted
if it still has thin, it becomes difficult
you see that the other great, much better developed is because the gene has much better chances to develop well, and are not so sickly burdensome, we cannot treat with antibiotics well,
and yes with the size you can start to leave too early, but legally by the legislator could still be free, I guess they are so on 2-3 months, so or so, you have to do the best now, just stop with the little underdeveloped becomes difficult, the colors are so with these red not, they usually die at up to 1 year, at anything…
in the big ones I wouldn’t worry about the ones that will develop if you still give antibiotics if there was something to be
Thank you.
There are two different litters.
She eats and drinks well and is also quite mobile, so I’m not worried about it.
I’m just talking about the age she might have been given too early
it tends not to have 2 different cubes, because then either the kater should have been red, or the two mothers red, then the salesman has kitten much more red, is rather uncommon, I rather go out from 1 cube, the kitten has simply not developed out of genetically illegitimate, yes with both the mother would still have to guess that they would suck even my
Okay, thank you. Let’s hope the best. No Farm is not always all bad on the contrary. But here I didn’t have a good feeling from the beginning, but it’s not my cats but my daughter’s and she had been looking forward to it for weeks and wasn’t possible to talk to her about it 😕
ask the veterinarian how he assesses the survival of the little kitten, and let amoxiclav tablets give you if they should not eat anymore, panacur warns also in the inet, would also be advised, best the injector you can react, a hesitation at eating is already a big alarm signal, they do not see after that they have been hard-treated, but let the
The two kittens come from a farm, there cats are rumored in all colors. And also many kittens in different sizes and colors were there
Definitely there were two different litters apart from 2 to 3 weeks
Anyway, I’ll try to get an appointment with the vet tomorrow.
The 450 gr. Cat is by no means 12 weeks, max. About 6-7 weeks, so much too young.
Please go to TA
Thanks that was planned for check-in anyway. But with ours this is only possible
This can be classified as an emergency at the
at the veterinarian age and is under 8 weeks(which would also be too early for a levy) then display the progenitor at the veterinarian
Thank you, yes, veterinarian, I’ll call you tomorrow and let me just take a look at it. We always did when an animal was new to us.
but also act when it is too young
exactly one show at the Veterinary Office, so that such people are put on the craft
What do they mean? Give back is not in question. Or do they mean the ad?
