Kitten with diarrhea, positive stool profile. What if FIP?
Hello, my daughter got two kittens at the end of June.
I've already asked a question about this, but now we've gone back to the vet because one of the kittens has been having diarrhea ever since. And now her belly has grown quite large, which isn't due to eating.
We have now had a stool profile created, where a number of things were found, including the coronavirus, which we will only find out tomorrow.
Now I've done a bit of research and I keep coming across FIP in connection with coronavirus.
In connection with the belly circumference and the cat's condition, I am now worried that it might be FIP after all, even though the vet said no last Tuesday.
What are the chances with FIP? I have no experience with it at all and as far as I know it is a fatal disease.
I know that there is a medication for FIP, but it is not approved in Germany, or not in the foreseeable future.
What about the other kitten? They come from two different litters, meaning they have different mother cats, but they were born in the same environment. This one, however, seems to be in good health.

Hello,
there is only A FCoV, which is the non-mutated feline coronavirus. He lives as well as in every cat.
If your cat boy had the mutated FIP, then they would be noticeably apathetic, would have a breathing shortness, a raised abdomen, a fress and drinking loss… they would be very bad.
The GS therapy you are talking about would still be possible if you would report to the corresponding Facebook group.
But most likely your veterinarian is right and it’s not the FIP, but maybe worm attack.
I think the uncleanness comes from the assumptions I have made.
Your cat boy is good.

Thank you for your answer.
Your answer to my other post. We were with the veterinarian last week, there she got a 48h antibiotic because she didn’t make her at all into the apartment that was no longer nasty, after the 48 h the same game went off again than if she didn’t make it to the toilet.
So I don’t think it’s something to do with free-goers.
The answer now to the post, it has a belly circumference that does not come from eating and it does not run as rum as before where the belly was not so thick. I wrote that the cat has changed.
Then log in to the GS therapy group on Facebook and talk to the staff there. They can also read your findings and tell you if it is a FIP and must be treated.
I rather go out of girods or worms and/or a bacterial disease.
Antibiotics does not help with FIP.
Antibiotics only work in diseases caused by bacteria.
?
I think I gave good suggestions. There’s no need for a “dry.”
Look at the video of Giardien, then you’ll know how reliable tests are. The lecture is by a veterinarian.
Dr. Gregor Berg: What are Giardien?

But hey: However, please!
Giardia were already treated, the last test was negative, and there was nothing left in the big kotprofil.
The antibiotic was against diarrhea and not because of FIP.
If I know more tomorrow, I’ll get back to the Facebook group.
Nevertheless, thanks
a photo wouldn’t be bad if she smiled, use her antiviotics
whether fip, or not, depends on it, usually it breaks three-quarter-1 year out,
the whole throw, I would exclude, know no case where I ever had, is usually of the probability 1 of a throw,
yes 5% is written that it breaks out chance if you have the virus strain inside, dim, can also be eaten because I don’t see the animal…
would take care of the red and breathing with antibiotics
write that she got duphamox, that after the 2 days one should have given at least 2 more days, usually also over mehere weeks depending on herpes outbreak is necessary to avoid secondary infections
