Wanting to have children with PCOS?

Desire to have children with PCOS

Hello 🙂

I'm currently on day 18 of my cycle. I took clomiphene from days 5-9 of my cycle and induced with Ovitrelle on day 13 of my cycle. I had two follicles, one 20mm and the other 25mm…

I haven't had any problems so far, I've been busy placing hearts and now I have hardly any or only a little cervical mucus. On day 14 of my cycle I did have stringy cervical mucus, but only when I really looked a little deeper.

Has anyone had experience with Clomiphene or Ovitrelle causing the discharge to stop, or to only have a very small amount?

And could this actually be a possible pregnancy? Since progesterone is produced during pregnancy, the cervical septum should be higher.

I don’t have experiences, but even if fertilization had taken place, you wouldn’t notice it now. Your body ‘white’ before the insemination, which takes place only days after fertilization, nothing of a successful fertilization. Incidentity is also the most difficult of all processes – not even half of all successful fertilization ends in recession.

It is therefore very unlikely to be expected that the first attempt with medicamental support has the same success.
Remember: A couple who has no health restrictions also needs a year on average until a detectable pregnancy occurs.
So don’t worry about how you start counting days and hours. If it doesn’t work, it’s okay. Relax, keep watching your symptoms, openly talk to your partner and your treater about your feelings. If it works, please, and if it doesn’t work, look forward to the next attempt.
