Orthodontics?

Hello everyone, I went to an orthodontist for a consultation today and wanted to know about the misalignment of my lower teeth. My health insurance won't cover the relatively high treatment costs because I'm already 24, so far so good. He also told me that he might have to extract healthy teeth during treatment due to a lack of space, but that doesn't have to be done. This really got me thinking. If you were me, would you go for treatment, or would you rather live with it?

Does anyone have experience, preferably in detail, similar to mine with lack of space etc.

I look forward to your answers!

Hello Husi,

the health insurance does not take adult treatments, even if they make sense. That’s it.

We’re not talking about wisdom teeth.

Today we try to avoid the extraction of healthy teeth. They used to be there faster and in America, the home of modern orthodontics, was the standard.

Since you have to pay for the treatment yourself, alternatives such as minipins and sliders have also been introduced. This can avoid many extraction cases. Takes longer and costs more. But that doesn’t always work and you have to pull your teeth. Then it is.

You should definitely get a second opinion. Keeping healthy teeth is only possible if you are convinced of it.

Good luck!

My orthodontist wanted to let me draw 2 healthy teeth (they were prone dentist….) – 2 dentists have advised me of this, my teeth are now gerde and complete (except for the wisdom teeth that they told me on the day of the removal of the chip they had to get out urgently (as I said they knew someone…) – they let them pull years later when they had ignited (was a children’s game).

So who, you’re disturbing your tooth position, let it go. If you don’t like the treatment company, let yourself be advised with other orthodontic orthodontics until you find one where you like treatment planning. Can also walk calmed to 3…4 or 5 different.

Yeah, I wasn’t different. I have a very small jaw and two remaining teeth had to be pulled up and down. Goods healthy but necessary for treatment. I still live, my teeth are straight and everything is good.

It’s the fucking thing for you to have to bear the costs yourself. It won’t be cheap.
