Keyboard is displayed on desktop and can no longer be removed under Windows 10?

Hey, before all the smart alecks start crying again, I had to google etc. I've spent over two hours trying everything the internet has recommended. Turned the keyboard on using shortcuts (eg ctrl, win, o etc.), checked and unchecked all the boxes. Checked and unchecked all sorts of accessibility options. Even checked whether I was in tablet mode etc. Of course, every now and then I restarted or turned it off completely to clear the RAM. I'm the administrator here and I'm getting desperate. The problem suddenly appeared. My son was playing Geshin Impact and nothing was downloaded – I checked that too.

The clever pages on Windows didn't help either. It doesn't start immediately; it only starts about ten seconds after the computer is turned on. I can't find any programs listed in the active programs list that shouldn't be there and shouldn't be running. Nothing new has appeared either. There's also no program listed in the Start menu, which isn't absolutely necessary.

Maybe you have an idea?

Thanks

Then check the keyboard settings to see if there's a) an option for an on-screen keyboard and/or b) an option for keyboard shortcuts. In the latter case, you can see the corresponding shortcut or change it if necessary.

PS: If something happens again, turn the machine off by holding down the power button for 5 seconds. If you shut down properly, the current status will be saved, which usually doesn't help.

No.

Significantly, you don't mention a single word about when or after what last activity you've had this problem.

You will probably have no choice but to restore the system to a state before this last action, which is potentially responsible for the problem (if a system restore point exists for this).

I can't judge whether you actually tried the internet tips correctly. But hopefully you know that a restart is a wise move in between.
