Keyboard in English?

good Morning,

Whenever I press "Y" on my keyboard, "Z" comes out.

I've already tried using "Shift & ALT" but it still doesn't change.

Depending on the distribution used, you will want to change the keyboard layout from QWERTY to QWERTZ in the corresponding configuration file. In Debianesque distributions, this would be the setting XKBLAYOUT="de" in /etc/default/keyboard or also, for dialogue, dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration

Maybe this will help you:

There is only the US version here. So, to have the QWERTZ DE, you need to press a certain key combination, such as old + ' then you'll get the same etc.

What's wrong with you? Select the last point with German? You can describe it in more detail.

Look at the settings that you have the qwertz and not the qwerty setting.

Could be Linux, MacOS or anything else…but the FS doesn't seem very communicative.

Lol…yes have to show me your attitudes now…we'll get on.
For the first time, I only know that you have a keyboard with qwerty layout…that means you should adjust it in the settings. So not qwertz but qwerty.

What exactly did you try? Have you restarted the PC after the repositioning?

Then you need to change the keyboard layout in the operating system settings.
