Do you know any suitable pieces of music?

One of the orchestras I play in has its annual concert next spring. This time, the theme is "Encounters." We're currently looking for pieces for wind orchestra that fit the bill. Soloists are welcome, and other instruments are welcome. They shouldn't be above intermediate level in difficulty. We currently have pieces for alphorn, tenor horn, mallets, tubulum and boomwhackers, and possibly violin and vocals. If you have any ideas for what else we could play, please leave a comment.

Instruments we could very well imagine would be: didgeridoo, electric guitar, accordion. Others are also welcome…

LG and thank you very much

With us, the recorder group has already played with the youth orchestra. A “Recorder Cha Cha Cha” and another piece of the same composer. A Dutchman with “K” at the beginning.

It is nothing special, but the little ones were proud as Bolle and one could also involve the youngest.

Do you have a “fitten” pauker? I started practicing this, but I wouldn’t have done it in “concert quality “….🤦🤷

The gospel choir can last well English and usually have a few safe soloists.

There is the issue of a Medley from the “Hair Musical” with choir and solo voices. This is what a friendly association once performed with great success. It’s really great and a classic. Do you have a gospel choir tangible?
