Depending on my mood on where I am on the go, and even the weather plays a role in me. Very different, but always rocky.

With slow music, I tend to drive “mooth” too. I’m on the move with harder music.

The sun shines, my roof is up, I’m on the road and hear “Anybody” from Dead Sarah or “Hotel California” from the Eagels.

Highway, roof closed and it runs Metallica, Ozzy or – if the railway is free – also like Painkiller of Judas Priest.

Music is an important component to beautify car rides. Depending on the personal mood and ambience, I select folders with corresponding songs on my USB stick. With longer and predominantly monotonous motorway rides, I prefer fast, cheerful music, while relaxing by idyllic landscapes, I choose quiet songs that make the ambience atmospherically appropriate.

A small selection of faster songs:

Merk, Kremont, Tananai & Marracash (Un altro mondo)

Tiesto vs. Energy 52 (The business at Café del Mar)

Fedez vs. Robert Miles (Bimbi per strada)

Lady Gaga (Bad romance)

Gig d’Agostino (L’amour toujours)

Animotion (I engineer)

Pet Shop Boys (It’s a sin)

Safri Duo (Played-a-live)

Avicii feat. Aloe Blacc (Wake me up)

Visage (Fade to grey)

… and now a few slower songs:

Enya (May it be)

Richard Marx (Right waiting here)

Bryan Adams (Heaven)

Cigarettes after Sex (Sweet)

John Legend (All of me)

Oleta Adams (Get here)

Adele (Chasing pavements)

Kenny G. (Songbird)

Elton John (Can you feel the love tonight?)

Sarah McLachlan (Angel)

Highway to Hell – AC DC

Generally, music that helps you stay awake – so more rockier things. Ideally I find classical editing of rock music pieces, such as the London Symphony Orchestra in its “Classic Rock Renaissance“-collection (92 titles) has compiled because the music and not the vocals are at the forefront.
