Hello, about 6 weeks ago my power supply almost exploded. I sent a very detailed description to Alternate, because I obviously wanted a new one or my money back. I waited two weeks for a response. About two weeks ago, I sent my power supply there. No response since! What should I do?

I found a power supply and a small GPU that I wanted to install in my old PC. Physically, the connectors fit the motherboard, but do I need to do anything else, or will it just work? I'm worried that the power supply will overload the CPU, as the maximum wattage has more than doubled.
