Kawasaki KX250F (2015 model) is hard to start?
Hey,
I replaced the piston, cylinder, and timing chain on my 2015 Kawasaki KX250F and adjusted the valve clearance.
Now, however, I'm having a problem getting it started. I feel like I have to kick it about 50 times before it starts… When the engine is on, it runs smoothly and without any problems. But when I kick it, it seems like it only starts with a perfect, strong, and fast kick, and with a lot of luck. Otherwise, it just misfires…
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Replace the spark plug, the connector, and the thick cable. (That would be the easiest thing to do. Your hint: when it's warm, it runs great. That's a sign that something's wrong with the ignition. But when it's warm, it must be something to do with the heat.)
The worst part: you've swapped something in the timing chain. (That would explain the misfire.)
Warm doesn't start anymore, I mean when the motocross is running She's great but as soon as you're out, she's very hard to care about whether hot or cold.
Can't imagine what's wrongly assembled, the control chain is on OT.
I found the problem, the pole wheel slipped again and the control times have not been matched… Apparently, I forgot to check it again.
Thanks for the help!
