Buyer wants to pay via family and friends?

Hi, I'm selling a jacket, and the buyer wants to pay through Family and Friends. Is there anything I should consider? He doesn't want to pay any fees because I said he has to cover them. Is it safe for me, the seller, or not?

Let it stay:

Shop goods or services by PayPal Family and Friends pay and PayPal gets this with, then PayPal rightly sees this as a fee bypass and can therefore also avoid you:

If you sell goods or services, you may not ask your buyer to send you a personal transaction payment for the purchase. If you do so, PayPal can completely or partially block you for receiving payments for personal transactions.

Good evening,

Better leave it. Found something here!

What can people do? Basically, if you send money to a wild alien via PayPal via the function “Friends and Family”, then the money is gone. PayPal does not accept liability in this case. Even the buyer protection does not intervene, because there is no goods to be seen, there is no sale.

No, you personally have no disadvantage, the buyer cannot withdraw the money.

It’s a little weird as a buyer, because of course you don’t have the security as in the number with “goods and services”.

How will you be deducted as a salesman? you don’t get money, you don’t send the package

Oh, sorry, I read it wrong. So directly you have no direct disadvantages (he cannot withdraw the money).

for you safe, for the buyer unsafe

Family & Friends is not cancelable and irrevocable. It is therefore a digital equivalent to pushing money into the hand. Absolutely safe for you. Not for the buyer.

This is wrong:

Buyer can use PayPal an unjust account access report, and then the money would be gone.

And yes, of course, this also goes by payment PayPal Family and Friends, even though unfortunately ignorants always say something differently.

If, by the way, all readable in the PayPal Terms of Use, which clicks only as read on.
