Cat "bite", should I be worried?
A few days ago (must have been Saturday or Sunday) I fed my cat individual pieces of dry food by hand.
Because there was still dust from the cat food on my hand, she accidentally mistook my finger for food and bit me lightly.
It should be noted that she no longer has any canines, and the bite must have been caused by her fangs. Therefore, the "bite," if you can call it that, isn't very deep, but rather a superficial scratch.
I reacted immediately, washing the wound within 15 seconds and disinfecting it within 30 seconds. I also applied a sterile wound dressing immediately afterward.
It's been a few days since this happened and I haven't gone to the doctor because my foot is sprained.
Therefore my question:
Can anything serious happen at this point or does the wound look okay?
It doesn't hurt any more than a normal small wound. There's also a small wound on the underside of my finger, but it's already healed.
No.
Alex
No, but you wouldn’t have died like that.
Cat bites are not without…
It’s okay.
