Cats and eucalyptus?

I just took a good sniff of some eucalyptus because I have a cold. Then my cat sniffed it briefly and reacted really strangely. She squinted her eyes and quickly jumped up and ran away from me. Then I read online that eucalyptus is poisonous to cats. Now my question is, could it be possible that my cat was poisoned by sniffing the pen? And how will I know? And when will I notice it? What should I do now? She's back to normal now, but I'm still very worried about her.

No, she didn’t poison herself. It does not like the smell (which protects it from poisoning because it will not bite into it).

No, it’s poisonous when they eat it. Their reaction is due to the fact that their sense of smell is much stronger and they absolutely do not like the smell, and the essential oils can burn in their eyes.

But don’t worry her nothing happened
