Heyo, dear cat friends.
We have a problem. Since we have outdoor cats, and they're allowed out at night, strays and neighbors' cats are coming into our house. Ours is so stressed by other cats coming to us that they're starting to mark our house.
But since neither of us goes to the litter box, we can't close the flap at night.
Do you have any other ideas what we could do?
Ours are both neutered and were previously house trained.

My cat developed this bald spot practically overnight. She's not behaving unusually or showing any signs of discomfort. I haven't seen her scratching the area yet. Have you ever had this problem before? She's a strictly indoor cat. I'll be going to the vet tomorrow.

Freigängerkatzen sollten kastriert, gechipt, auf die Haltenden registriert und regelmäßig geimpft sein. Das sind Standardprozedere in Deutschland.
Somit kann man für seine gechipten Freigängerkatzen Katzenklappen mit Chipsteuerung installieren, so dass die Katzen jederzeit rein und raus können, aber fremde Katzen draußen bleiben müssen.
Damit dürfte sich euer “Problem” erledigt haben.

Streuner nicht mehr ins Haus lassen. Es gibt Katzenklappen, die nur auf ein bestimmtes Halsband reagieren
Haben wir halt nicht, und Halsbänder werden wir unseren Katzen nicht Anziehen
Die dürften keine Welt kosten und schnell eingebaut sein.
Gibt klappen mit Chip Funktion
