Hey, my cat always sits in my room behind my TV. If I chase him away, he jumps back onto my dressing table and then behind the TV. What can I do, or how can I teach him not to go behind the TV?

She's constantly fighting with my neighbor's cat, who's three times her size and strength. So far, she hasn't had any major injuries, but I'm worried something worse might happen at some point.
What does this mean? He's been doing this for about an hour. He's an indoor cat, so I don't think he's hurt himself. Is something going on or am I just worrying unnecessarily?
Apparently, he feels safe and protected at the place. Why shouldn’t he be there? Can you offer him another hiding place?

You can buy a cable tube for protection.
You can first put a towel behind the TV so that it no longer sits there or at least no longer chaps or scratches the cable. And otherwise offer an alternative withdrawal option. Cartons always like to be seen.
offer him a better alternative;-)
Behind the TV it is nicely cuddly warm.
If you change that, he may not go there anymore.

It’s warm and cozy. You’d have to do something to stop him. But that’s the way the heat can get away from the TV.
