Katze abgehauen?

Hello,

You write down about 10 minutes ago in a comment:

We have already found them again but thank you

Great!

Please keep your cat in the house for the next 4-6 weeks so that it can build sufficient ties to you people and their house.

For the future, something like this should happen again, here pre-detail information for you: What can you do to get your cat back home?

  • Call shelter, report cat there missing.
  • Call the police and the street office and ask for death.
  • All surrounding veterinarians and animal clinics call and ask for injured cats.
  • Ring to every door in the neighborhood, show the image of the cat, leave flyers with contact details there.
  • Switch Tasso and/or Findfix search indicator.
  • Every shed, every garage, every cellar, every house entrance, every staircase and every attic in the surrounding area, let it show, again and again.

Take a flashlight with it and shine into any still inaccessible angle. The light reflects in the cat eyes.

And here read:

Infectious animals are often released by hearted people in veterinarian practices, when no one reports, come to the shelter. It is therefore very important to report and ask.

Best regards 🙋 ♀️ +😺 +😺

Of course.

A new cat should be kept in the apartment for at least 3-4 weeks so that she can recognize it as her home. A cat locked in a shed on the 2nd day is not exactly animal love, it is locked in a completely strange environment all alone. She’s gone, no cat wants that.

Locked in. It is not about how much space the cat should get used to people and their surroundings.
A cat does not keep mine in shed, buy a few chickens or a goat who like to live in shed and do not place any value on human proximity.

Actually, you know before you get an animal.

She probably escaped for fear. She was locked up in a completely strange environment all by herself, and that of people who do not even know her, let alone trust.

If she’s smart, she won’t come back to you….

She would not have been alone in the house, and could have become accustomed to her new environment and to her new families as soon as possible. You could have seen the cat in the shed in two months.

It is not about blocking, but about contact with people 🤦🏻 ♀️

Cat needs company – you and your family.
Your old cat was at home with you and could choose a place yourself.
I know it wasn’t meant bad, but that doesn’t work.

You seem to want to read the essential information from Gaby intentionally: A new cat is kept in the house for several weeks so that it can bind to people and at home, so that it can also come back reliably. You didn’t.

So the cat is very likely to be gone by no time.

If it is still uncast and without labelling… adé.

A day for reconciliation? It takes several weeks! And lock the cat in a stable to get used to it…?! So this is really irresponsible what you did… She probably won’t come back.

Cat was surprisingly found 7 minutes ago, says the FS further down.

No… I don’t think she’s coming back.

She doesn’t know you and the area.

Call the police if they report someone there, call animal shelter and then go search!

A new cat and without binding to man in sheds that would be pure luck when they come back. You should know how to hold them before you get cat.

can only place well fed in shed near your doorstep and hope that it is nearby and responds to food

Since you have no idea about cat keeping, hopefully the cat will look for a new home

No, she’s probably not going to come back, because she was with you just one day, and you’re not home in her eyes yet.

One can only hope that she is brave enough to persevere herself, and not starving fearfully somewhere…

We have already found them again but thank you

Interesting! Because 49 minutes ago you set your FS again and only 5 minutes later you found the cat?! Then expand your FS with this information and save other potential respondents the unnecessary effort. Thank you.

Your demand: Since you set the question again: What have you been doing since yesterday to find it? I assume that NOTES has been made, not even read on the Internet. 🙁

Addendum:

Just read this comment:

I don’t think they’re coming back. I don’t know how to be so irresponsible.
