Tomcat is doing milk kicks, should I pet him while he does so?
Hey hey, my 5-month-old cat often milk-kisses on the blanket or on me. I'm not sure if I should let him do it and not pet him (don't disturb him), or does he want me to pet him while he does it?
I just let him do it and then he lies down next to me.
This is a completely normal behavior. These do cats, whether zahm or wild, whether 1 month or 20 years old, whether male or female, whether Munchkin or Panther.
It is related to the current well-being, with relaxation.
Hello,
Why is your cat making milk?
“About this behavior your cat shows that she likes you very much or feels very comfortable at least in her home.”
Here I would like to offer you 2 more specific sources:

just keep it up… that shows that she feels comfortable.
Cats always do that. It’s normal. Even with my eldest seven years, that’s the same.
My cat does that too
Can still caress the kitten
This has nothing to do with the cat being too early away from the cat’s mother. You can safely remove the information from your memory because “About this behavior your cat shows that she likes you very much or feels very comfortable at least in her home.”
Oh thank you
I’ve always been told that’s why
Thanks for the correction!
I agree.
Cats are just wonderful!
So do I.
Especially sweet is it with my cosima because the cuddles then really
My cats do this only when a blanket is between us. That’s why I have less trouble with the claws. I think that then such a nice adult cat looks so delightful youthful and has an effect.
If my cat does it on me, it doesn’t hurt. But if my cat does it then it feels like a nail board.
Find the name Leo also very beautiful
It’s such a wonderful gesture of cats. I always get the heart wide when my leo does it.
