Kartoffeln zubereiten?

Hab für morgen schon mal Kartoffeln geschnitten, über nacht kommen die in den Kühlschrank.

Was kann ich zu den Kartoffeln geben damit sie morgen vielleicht besser schmecken? Einlegen?

In Rezepten hört man sowas ja oft, nur hat man da selten die Motivation zu, jetzt hatte ich ersteres aber kein Rezept-

Sure, there are some simple things you can do to make your potatoes more delicious. Before you put them in the refrigerator, you could season them with olive oil, salt, pepper and a few spices of your choice. That gives them more taste. You could also crush some garlic cloves and mix with the potatoes, which gives a great taste. Or how would it be if you were struggling some fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme? This makes the potatoes really delicious!

Sure, that goes well, that everything is already wetted with oil, I put fresh foil on it not getting gray.

Sure, that’s all right! Sunflower oil is a good alternative to olive oil to season potatoes. It has a milder taste than olive oil, but it will work just as well to give the potatoes taste and make them nicely crispy. So no problem, just use the sunflower oil you have and season your potatoes.

Just to clarify: As in the picture, raw potatoes cannot be kept. They’re gonna be black, so bad. If they are completely covered by normal water, this is prevented. This has nothing to do with or to improve taste!

I can imagine whether the rotting process can be stopped with (pronounced) oil, but I don’t know why I should drown the potatoes in expensive oil. I would store them in water and dry them before preparation and then season.

Mix salt, pepper and other spices (e.g. chili, garlic) Not necessarily all at once) together with olive oil, then marinate the potatoes in it and then spread to a baking sheet tomorrow and bake for 20 minutes.

So that they don’t get black, they should store in the water, that doesn’t even have to be in the refrigerator.

Sauce is actually added to salt potatoes.

Or you can roast them.

Then it’s salad or something.

You don’t let “normal” potatoes mature like that.

Only if you want to do something special with it.

Either you cover the potatoes with cold water or wrap them in damp cloths and then put them in the refrigerator.
