Build your own kart?

Hello, I want to build a kart from scratch, but since there are still a few things I don't quite understand, I'd like to ask if someone can help me. I already have a sketch, and I've already got an engine in mind. Now for my questions: Do I need a clutch for the engine? And how is the engine operated with the accelerator pedal? Does anyone happen to have a sketch with dimensions?

Thanks in advance for the help

As a rule, a card motor has a centrifugal clutch. There’s no time to couple and turn… And gas is given to the carburetor via a Bowden cable.

I assume that the engine has a centrifugal clutch.

Would you like a motor from a 50ccm scooter or then do not recommend coupling, would buy a scooter and maintain the gas cock, equipped with a pedal board and you already have a gas pedal
