“Charlemagne 2€ coin 2023” worth?

Hello my dears, I have another question: is this coin worth anything and if so, how much?
As I said, I don't know much about coins. I looked for this coin on eBay, and it was listed as a "misprint," which looked identical to mine. Now I don't know if it was just a fake or if it really is a misprint. Please no stupid comments, only helpful answers, thanks.🥰

A 2-Euro coin is actually worth 2 euros. As soon as it was in circulation (and this coin was unambiguous as you can see on the strong signs of use) even always!

A very clear N E I N, aside from the nominal value.

Forget about these stupid deals on Ebay and Co. These offers are of people who live in a completely distorted fantasy world and dream of the constant dream of smart money. As fast as possible to get a lot of money and best not to do anything for it. Using such nonsensical offers as a reference basis is in this case that the worst thing you can do at all.

Apart from that, they are offered at these insane prices, NOT traded, also NOT sold. Whether they are sold at all is on a completely different sheet. Everyone can offer his stuff at any fantasy price, including people who have no idea about this topic.

it is not worth more than 2 euro. they still like to keep them but would seem to be able to spend a maximum of 4 euro for it depending on the condition

In short: No.

I alone have over 20 pieces of this coin and something would certainly not be possible with a misprint.

The coins are controlled, so it is very unlikely that such a rare misprint is in our circulation.

By the way, you recognize a misprint:

The coin image is not straight when the coin rotates about the longitudinal axis, but is rotated by 10 to 350 degrees. A “French misprint” is a coin in which the coin image is rotated by exactly 180 degrees.

  • Format error: Perhaps the rarest misprint is the so-called “mirror”. The interior of the coin is somewhat higher than the outer ring. So it projects like the egg yolk over the protein.
  • Wrong inscriptions: Partly, the coin’s edge inscriptions do not match the symbols. A classic example is the combination of the Irish coin with the borderline of the Netherlands.
  • Bad cards: The accession of Romania and Bulgaria in 2007 had some embossing sites. Instead of embossing an updated EU map, the old map was reused.

So, the coin is not a misprint and has a value of 2€, yet a great piece for collectors.

This is a 2-Euro coin issued in a high volume (total of 20 million copies), worth 2 euros. In coin trading, it is offered at slightly higher prices (usually between 2 and 3 euros), but not in purchase.

The claims made on the net about alleged “feehl embossings” are predominantly infidel. Check this out here: https://www.muenzen.pro/2-euro failures/ There is also a link to a special forum on the topic.

It’s usually a fake. If you like it and buy these coins at EBay, you look into the tube.
