Karies durch Zucker bekommen obwohl man oft Zähneputzt?

Hallo,

As a result of the recommended teeth cleaning, only the probability of caries is reduced.

Sugar is not dangerous for the teeth, it is the acids of the bacteria that metabolize the sugar.

Regular cleaning with fluoride-containing toothpaste naturally reduces the formation of caries. But plaque (tooth deposit) can nevertheless arise (by saliva) there the bacteria are then sitting in and attacking the tooth enamel and this plaque must be removed at least 1x a year from the dentist. If you still use tooth silk and mouthwashing and do not smoke, you have good chances of having healthy teeth for a lifetime.

The problem with sugar is the seeds that form. This naturally attacks the enamel more than a neutral medium. When you put the teeth in fruehs, then eat jam bread, and after 12 hours, put the teeth again, they are clean, but the seeds have long time to attack the tooth. You can eat sugar without any concern for the fences when you stick, but who does.

If it were, dentists would be unemployed.

How do you explain?
