Kann vor der Konjunktion “und” ein Komma kommen?

Hallo,

Ist es möglich, dass u.U. ein Komma vor Konjunktionen wie z.B. “und” kommen kann?

Wenn man z.B. zwei laengere Saetze voneinander trennen möchte?

Yeah.

If you connect two main sets with “and” or “or” you may use a comma.

According to the old spelling (until 1996), the comma was even mandatory at this point.

This is possible with two counts connected to “and” or if “and” itself is listed part of a list.
