Hello,

It is important that your cousin keeps an eye on her health and controls her weight in a healthy way. However, weight loss from 15-17 kg to 44-46 kg with a size of 1.64 cm seems very extreme and possibly unhealthy.

A healthy weight varies depending on body construction and individual factors such as age, sex and muscle mass. One way to determine the ideal weight is based on the body mass index (BMI). Your cousin’s BMI is about 22.7, which is in a normal range.

It is also important to point out that excessive lowering of body weight can lead to health problems, such as malnutrition, weakness, anemia, menstrual problems and bone loss. If your cousin wants to lose weight, she should do this under medical supervision and feed herself healthy and balanced.

It is important that your cousin focuses on her health and is not fixed to a certain number on the scale. A healthy diet and sufficient physical activity are the key to a healthy lifestyle.

The BMI of your cousin now: 22.7 – normal

The BMI of your cousin after the hunger cure: 16.4 – extremely underweight.

To answer your question: yes, she can get health problems.

In my opinion, she already has them if she wants to lose weight as a normal weighty girl so extremely that she wants to starve down to the underweight.

I have already met many people in my life who have developed an eating disorder just because they have made a diet.

And at an age like your cousin, 12 almost 13, the human being needs a balanced diet because now the puberty begins and the body needs more energy for the change from the girl to the woman.

But maybe that’s exactly the problem?

Could it be that your cousin is afraid of changes in her body through puberty?

Could it be that she paniced the fact that she slowly gets a bus and a little wider hips?

In my opinion, your cousin’s desire is not only harmful to health, he also indicates that your cousin is urgently in the hands of a professional psychologist/psychiater.

Please let her know what fatal consequences it may have to suffer from eating disorder.

And a very great request to you, which you should absolutely fulfill to keep your cousin from harm:

Talk to their parents about their desire for weight.

You can then lead everything in the way to help your cousin get clear with her body in advance.

Because 1 out of 10 people who have received the diagnosis of malice die and I don’t want your cousin to be part of it.

That’s why it’s important to be working in advance before it’s too late.

Not less than 50 kg. With 50 kg it has a BMI of 18.6. All that is under 18.5 BMI is underweight.

It would be light underweight, which happens more often at the age.

But it is not desirable, after it weighs quite a lot. It’s at the border to the overweight. A few kilos less would certainly not hurt, but not as much.

48 – 62 kg

Ideal weight

If the weight is between 48 and 62 kg, everything is OK.

If you want to lose weight, move.
Everything else is bullshit.
