Kann sein, dass ein Hotel in Potsdam viel günstiger ist, als ein AirBnb in Berlin?
Hallo,
ich plane einen Trip mit 5 Nächten nach Berlin zu machen. Ich habe nach Unterkünfte auf AirBnb in Berlin gesucht und musste feststellen, dass der Gesamtpreis bei normalen Wohnungen (also die ganze Unterkunft für mich und nicht ein Zimmer mit gemeinsamem Bad) voll hoch sind (nicht in Berlin-Mitte sondern äusseren Bezirken wie z.B. Neukölln). Dagegen habe ich ein 4-Sterne-Hotel in Potsdam gefunden, wo ein Zimmer für dieselben Nächte die Hälfte kostet. Ich frage mich, ob die Preise in Berlin wirklich so hoch sind oder liegt es an mir, dass ich keine günstigere Unterkünfte finde?

From my own experience, I can only say that early booking can be cheaper if the hotel allows it. I only know this now with Düsseldorf and the Japan day, but book the hotel 1 year earlier, after which the fun will cost me 200% more.
Naja Berlin as the capital is now expensive, so you have to book very far ahead, but even then it is expensive.
Potsdam is about 35 km away from Berlin so if you want to see something for Berlin I wouldn’t want to go there every day from Potsdam
