Can someone explain the homework to me?

Hi,

My little sister (2nd grade) wants me to help her with her homework, but I don't know how either. Can you explain how to do that? Here's a picture:

So I don't understand what you're supposed to color in up there and what the colors red, blue and green mean next to these math boxes.

Can you explain it to me?

I don’t understand the meaning of the colored representation of the results. You can see what is to be painted in the examples. 4 and 7 shall be red, and 8 shall also be red. 6 shall be blue, 2 green, etc.

In the first table it is predetermined

You reckon 2+2 together. That’s 4th you paint everything red, where the 4 is.

In the next box, you recreate 2 and 5 together (issues 7) and paint everything red, where a 7 stands.

So you make it with all boxes…… calculate results and then look where the result is in the picture and then paint it with the corresponding color.

So, for example, in the last table the 1+1 shows 2, so in the drawing you will paint the 2 with green at the bottom left.

First table would be: 2+2, 2+5, 2+6

Below 12+2, 12+5, 12+6

You do that with every table. In addition to each table there is a color and the results you need to paint with the corresponding color. I understand

In principle, quite simply, the pen left beside the box gives the color before, i.e. all the results of this box are to be painted red 4, 7, 8 etc. Accordingly blue and green for further results.

At the first field you have to count the numbers together and paint the right results with red.

In the second field, you have to count the numbers together and paint the right results with blue

And in the third field you do the same with green
