In England there is the phenomenon of the English. They speak fortunately English. Of course there is also the one or the other who speak German. However, I would always rely exclusively on the national language in everyday life. And this is English. Yeah, that’s annoying, but comfort yourself: the phenomenon is in most countries.

You can talk to any person in any language, wherever you are in the world.

Only condition: Both interlocutors dominate the same language.

If your aunt can speak German, why don’t you talk German to her?

If you don’t speak English at all, it’ll be difficult. Maybe you’re just doing an English course?

Hello,

If you could seriously talk in English in England, you don’t need to learn English at school.

Use the chance and improve your English language skills on site in practice! Most English people are happy to talk to them in English, even if you only radebrecht, saves them the effort to learn German.
