Partly.

The RTW takes the patient to the next suitable hospital. This means to the next hospital with the appropriate department. Not every sick man has all the departments.

If there are several hospitals with appropriate equipment, you usually drive to the nearest. Only if there is a good reason (for example, the patient was treated for the same thing in another hospital) is another hospital approached.

If several hospitals in question are just as far away, the patient can usually decide.

If a patient wants to get to a certain hospital, but not the next suitable one, he can pay the transport himself. Then he can wish his hospital.

There may be regional differences, but I have never heard of the fact that the patient can be pushed around in the world’s history for payment as desired.

We in the circle would have to answer some questions from at least the head office and the employer as a responsible person. Among other things, why you take a patient to a 300 km away hospital while passing 10 hospitals ready for reception.

Even if the patient accepts the transport fee in full, he still does not replace the rescue agent, which is fully bound for 7-8 hours and stays outside the circle.

After the care in a nearby clinic, it is possible to discuss the return transport in remote regions if qualified care is required for transport. Only in rare cases is a RTW necessary.

No hospital was known in x hours. Grmeint was more like 10 minutes longer.

It depends.

Hospitals that do not have the appropriate department for the diagnosis and treatment of your complaints are out of debate.

If there are several hospitals of equal value (in the above sense) in the environment, and the patient is in a state where he is still worried about the “false” hospital, then idR is responded to the patient’s request. If a hospital no longer has capacity, but the patient wants to participate in exactly this hospital, he will be informed about the extended waiting period and possible transfer to another house. If the patient does not decide, he is also moved there.

If the patient explicitly requires an emergency doctor (not “only” the rescue service in general), then it is usually acute life-threatening conditions. The patient is not long discussed here, but the nearest free and suitable hospital is approached.

It depends. If a hospital is fully equipped and the others are not, you can also stand on your head and shabble with your legs – if they don’t pick you up, no ambulance will drive you there.
first, it is therefore always clear whether the hospital has capacity free. If so, you’ll come to your favorite hospital. If No, then you must be satisfied with the rest

As a rule, you only come to a hospital that just has capacity free. The wish hospitals are not always the best. LG

About 20 years ago I was asked for a traffic accident where I want to go.

My brother once had an accident and insisted that the paramedics drive him to a certain hospital and they did.

  1. The cash registers take over the transport costs in one of the two nearest hospitals.
  2. the Sanka driver informs in advance of the arrival by phone in the emergency room… if they say “we are full” or “no suitable specialist available”, then this decides which clinic you are being transported.
  3. Of course, you can express the wish to be brought to B instead of to A…but you don’t want to decide.
