Can you still eat smoked salmon after the expiration date?

Hello. Can smoked salmon still be eaten after the expiration date? The salmon isn't open, but is still sealed in a package in the refrigerator. Has it been expired for three days in the refrigerator?

As a rule! Watch, smell… prepare!

Since my husband had a nasty fish poisoning last year, I’ve been very careful.
I would dispose of him

Oh, how long has he failed?

He went bad over a week. Very high fever, cramps, diarrhea.. He was ill-written for two weeks, until he was physically retired.

This is not a minimum durability date, but a “use BIS” date. And then dispose.

Fish is such a thing, I’d tell you about consumption. You can see the test, smell, taste.

Since Räucherlachs has a consumption date and is quite susceptible, I would be very careful with it.

Look at the salmon, smell it and try a little piece. If it’s all right, you better use it tonight.

But honestly, I recommend you dispose of the smoked salmon and not to eat.

There’s nothing to add to that. Top answer.
