I once asked my married chemist. She can’t imagine something good coming out. Without trial and analysis, she can’t say anything. But it is feared that at these temperatures, pollutants could also form.

That would be an attempt. Where fat or oil or lard (yeah! Only so!) are now purely chemical-physically not really suitable for washing off aqueous solutions.
