An IQ of 100 is on average, so it is accordingly intelligent, no longer and no less.

In particular, this does not distinguish the intelligence. Certainly, there can be special personal qualities, but they are not located in the field of intelligence around the IQ.

To a particular extent, one is intelligent only with high performance and from an IQ of 130, which only reach a good 2%.

An IQ test only measures the ability to pass IQ tests. No more and no less.

The Mensa Association (IQ-Best Club) had invited the Nobel Prize winner Richard Feynman to become a member there. But Feynman was able to prove by means of an IQ test (which he had done sometime earlier) that he is not intelligent enough for this smart club.

Dumb running 😉

130 is enough for the Mensa recording.

It should be authentic.

The autobiographical books of Feynman are really worth reading. Really.

I don’t have the books now, I could check in tomorrow night. But I think the source situation is resilient.

Richard Feynman went by the ass…

And when he was harassed by some journalists in the middle of the night, because he got the Nobel Prize, he had to ask why they can’t tell him that on the day. The journalists became very annoying…

And he gave it up.

Everybody’s smart.

What you mean is probably know.

Intelligence is something else.

Intelligence is the term for thinking speed to overcome a problem in many ways without losing interest.

100 average

*Lach* Well, probably everyone is wisely intelligent, but due to my internet experience I can say there are really people who are NOT intelligent;-)

Hey,

Yes, since actual intelligence and the IQ on paper do not always have to do something with each other.

I find it very sad to have to say this, but there are really people who are simply “thumb”, have nix to do with IQ or so, but they have no empathy, they cannot understand thoughts. And so I don’t mean people who may have a physical or psychic disadvantage, but quite “normal” people if they exist.

Is a blind man who has usual IQ tests with far below 100 “stands”, stupid, unintelligent?

No IQ test can really query all skills, so IQ tests are best suited to determine whether certain skills are sufficient for certain work, etc.

Update: If I do my self-written IQ test, I come to an IQ of mind. 10000!

Sure, but it just shows that the IQ and test are not available.

In IQ tests, it’s like statistics. Never believe a test you didn’t fake yourself 😉

Counter-question: I have an iq of 123 but I’m not intelligent anyway.
