Can I use a nut without the rotating ring to attach the Eberspächer auxiliary heater to the Saab 9-3?

Unfortunately, we lost one of the nuts on the Eberspächer auxiliary heater in a 2007 Saab 9.3 TID Cabriolet. Now we need to know if it's possible to screw in one without this rotating ring. Of the three nuts, we still have two that reach the bottom of the bracket. The upper one is very difficult to screw in and out. Normally, a mechanic just removes the auxiliary heater without removing the bracket. Unfortunately, we don't have the tools for that.

Oh, that’s a so-called combination nut.
Here e.g. Combination nuts with movable disc 18 M8 stainless steel A2 (screw-express.de)

The advantage is that when you are mounted, you cannot fall down the pad. So the classic, pad, grabbed to the mother and slapped – where did the washer stay?

Of course you can also do it with a normal pad, Federing alone is not enough.

I think a mother with a washer is just as suitable.

You have to watch the pane

If you’re unsure, you’re still confusing or screw securing…. ^^
