Can you report a teacher for making a racist statement?

Hello everyone,

So, I have a teacher who's been embarrassing me since I was in fifth grade. Today, he really overstepped his bounds. We were in German, and I didn't understand something, so he asked me if it was my hair color that made me so stupid.

Your teacher’s behavior isn’t at all and is truly disrespectful. No one has the right to expose you so much, not a teacher who should have a role model. Comments like the one about your hair color (or anything else) are not only unprofessional, but also quite insulting, and you don’t have to let it please.

Unfortunately, at my school there are also teachers who are disrespectful, cross-border or even insulting. Some make inappropriate, perverse spells, others drop racist comments. What is particularly annoying to me is that hardly anything is done. Even if pupils or parents complain, I often feel that the school does not take this seriously enough or just look away instead of consistently permeating.

I’d still advise you not to just let that stand. Talk to your parents or someone you trust, and tell them what happened. It helps to have support when you think about how you are going on. A good next step would be to contact the trust teacher or the school manager. They should know that your teacher exceeds such limits and can intervene. It is important that you write the situation for yourself – what was said exactly when and in what context. That can help later if there’s a conversation about it.

If you trust, you could even address the teacher directly to it and tell him that you’re hurting these comments and that you want him to stop. Sometimes people don’t even realize how they behave until they are pointed out – even though this is not an excuse.

If you have problems with a teacher, first contact the department or school management.

If this does not succeed, register with the school authority.

Can you tell a teacher about a racist statement?

There’s nothing racist about that.

And your other comments make quite clear that there is nothing serious about the whole number.

But again for the record: No

Just sound completely absurd and rejoice in what comes here daily.

And that, in addition to terms like racism, you don’t even know their definition does not make it more realistic.

Hello,

Lands in the storage recycle bin. In good German, nothing will happen after your ad.

It was not a racist statement at all.

That you don’t understand what racism is, you have made it clear several times. ^^

Wrong. Try harder.

Find witnesses among the fellow students and go to school.

The teacher wasn’t “obtrusive” for the first time.

Doesn’t take the school lead, inform your parents about school supervision.

Yeah, well, racism can be punished with fines, I’d like to talk to your parents first or someone you trust. So you know what you want to say and generally get support

That’s not a racist statement.

And you can always just dye your hair.

Then you and others hopefully prove that to this, I’m talking about real proof and not what’s based on hearing.

Childish nonsense.

You don’t know what you’re talking about, kid.
