Eine “WLAN Box” kannst Du in jedem Elektrofachmarkt oder Online kaufen.
Dann hast Du WLAN zu Hause – aber keine Internetverbindung!
Und ich vermute jetzt mal, das ist dein eigentliches Anliegen: Du willst eine Internet-Anbindung, oder?
Dafür musst Du aber immer einen Vertrag mit einem Anbieter (einem sogenannten ISP) notwendig.
Hier musst Du klären, welche Anbieter (wie zB Telekom, Vodafone, 1&1) über welches Medium ( DSL, Glasfaser,, Kabel, LTE) dir welche Geschwindigkeit (von 6 MBit/s bis 1GB/s) zu welchem Preis anbieten kann.
Dabei solltest Du auch auf versteckte Kosten (zB einmalige Anschlussgebühren) und Laufzeit des Vertrages achten.
Erst wenn Du den für dich passenden Anbieter gefunden und den Vertrag abgeschlossen hast, stellt sich die Frage, ob Du noch eine “WLAN Box” kaufen musst oder die bereits im Vertragsumfang enthalten ist

Ich schätze mal du meinst ein Koaxialkabel? Falls du einen Vertrag bei einem Kabelanbieter hast brauchst du so eine Kiste (hier hat AVM mit der Fritzbox quasi das Monopol). Gehst du über DSL online, hast du verschiedene Hersteller zur Auswahl.
